Job summary

Focus Partners seeks a Business Development Associate to support the sales team, enhance client experience, and help drive growth within the firm's custodial referral networks.

The role is hybrid (3 days in office per week; up to 2 remote days) and can be based in Scottsdale, AZ or Bellevue, WA. You will engage with FCs and clients, coordinate scheduling, prospecting, and analytics while using Salesforce and CRM tools.

Qualifications

• 2 years administrative work experience (including internships); financial services experience is a plus.
• Associate or bachelor's degree required.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Suite.
• Experience with CRM system; Salesforce preferred.
• Strong attention to detail, communication, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to multi-task under pressure, work independently, and work in a team environment.
• Self-starter, energetic, and assertive.
• Versatility, flexibility, and an ability to work within constantly changing priorities with enthusiasm.

Responsibilities

• Engage with Financial Consultants (FCs) as well as the end-clients through proactive outreach & ongoing communication.
• Provide ongoing sales support to the Business Development Team including but not limited to: scheduling, prospecting, marketing, event coordination, and analytics.
• Utilize CRM and other technologies for all data entry and internal workflow: pipeline & task management, and ongoing client communications.
• Coordinate across business lines with Financial Consultants, Business Development Team and Advisor Teams.
