Job summary

DuCharme, McMillen & Associates, Inc. is seeking a Business Analyst to identify and document business needs, analyze processes, and support technology solutions that improve operations.

You will bridge business stakeholders and technical teams to ensure clear requirements and aligned solutions. You will contribute to process improvements, gather requirements through testing and rollout, and collaborate with PMO practices to drive successful outcomes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Analytics, Computer Science, Business, or related field.
• 3+ years experience in business analysis or a related role.
• Understanding of SDLC and project management methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, SCRUM).
• Proficiency in requirements gathering, documentation, and stakeholder communication.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate information with attention to detail and accuracy.
• Experience with Jira, Visio, and other relevant tooling.
• Professional certification such as IIBA-ECBA is a plus and encouraged for career development.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the intake point for enhancement opportunities across processes, technology, and operations.
• Interview business owners and subject matter experts to understand current workflows and improvement areas.
• Elicit, translate, simplify, and document business and functional requirements.
• Analyze existing business processes to identify challenges and recommend improvements.
• Assist in building business cases for new initiatives and influence stakeholder support.
• Collaborate with project managers to define project scope, requirements, and deliverables.
• Prioritize initiatives based on impact, feasibility, and risk mitigation.
• Support user acceptance testing (UAT) and ensure solutions meet business needs.
• Maintain documentation and contribute to continuous improvement of PMO practices.
