Qualifications

• Associate or Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field or equivalent.
• 5+ years of building automation (HVAC controls) design experience.
• Ability to travel up to 35% and to travel for team activities.
• Legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.
• Hybrid work arrangement with local office visits.

Responsibilities

• Translate owner and project requirements into coordinated BAS design‑assist solutions.
• Collaborate with Engineers of Record, contractors, and internal teams to resolve constructability challenges.
• Perform site surveys, develop and document client engineering standards, and support design documentation.
• Prepare mechanical/electrical designs, BOMs, and sequences of operations for BAS systems.
• Design BAS network architecture for Modbus, Desigo, APOGEE or BACnet.
• Provide QA and peer review of engineering documents.
