Qualifications

• Foundational accounting knowledge and a commitment to continuous learning.
• Minimum 2 years of bookkeeping and payroll experience; proficiency with QuickBooks (desktop and online).

Responsibilities

• Code and enter bank transactions and other bookkeeping entries for multiple clients.
• Complete month-end reconciliations and reconcile client bank accounts.
• Prepare payroll reports, sales tax returns, year-end tax forms, and financial statements monthly, quarterly and annually.
• Administer client payroll including onboarding/termination updates, pay rate and deduction changes, timesheet review, direct deposits and payroll taxes.
• Build and maintain strong client relationships through timely, responsive communication.
