Job summary

Walter P Moore seeks a Technical Designer to develop BIM models and erection deliverables for construction projects across multiple systems. You’ll implement digital workflows, perform clash checks, and collaborate with architects, contractors, and owners to document design and constructability during the construction phase.

The ideal candidate has 3–5 years in advanced digital workflows in AEC, with a BIM/parametric focus and proficiency in Tekla, Revit, Rhino, or Grasshopper.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of experience developing and applying advanced digital workflows in the AEC industry.
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Architecture or Civil Engineering with emphasis in Structural preferred.
• Experience with BIM, parametric modeling, and interoperability required.
• Tekla experience required.
• Experience with Revit, Rhino and/or Grasshopper a plus.
• Candidates must be proactive, have strong organizational skills, excellent time management skills, strong written and verbal communication skills, and be client-service oriented.

Responsibilities

• Develop BIM models and erection/coordination deliverables for construction.
• Perform clash detection and maintain model integrity with teams.
• Collaborate with architects, engineers, and contractors on digital workflows.
• Ensure constructability and adherence to modeling standards.
• Support project budgets and scheduling through BIM workflows.
