Job summary

Jacobs is seeking an Architectural BIM/CADD Technician to join the Cities and Places team in the Northwest, based out of Boise, Idaho and Bellevue, WA. You will develop and maintain BIM models, produce construction documents, and coordinate with architects, engineers, and BIM leaders to deliver integrated design solutions.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of BIM modeling and construction documentation experience in architectural/design environments.
• Experience supporting multidisciplinary project teams through planning, design, and construction phases.
• Advanced proficiency in Autodesk Revit and ACC in multi-disciplinary workflows.
• Experience with BIM coordination, clash detection, model management, and documentation production.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain BIM models per project requirements and standards.
• Produce construction documentation: plans, elevations, sections, details, schedules.
• Prepare and revise drawing sets across schematic design to construction administration.
• Assist with BIM model setup, worksets, templates, families, and collaboration settings.
• Generate 2D drawings and project documentation from BIM models and CAD files.
• Support coordination efforts and participate in model reviews and clash detection using Revit, Navisworks, ACC.
• Coordinate information with project team members to support design integration.
• Maintain BIM content, CAD standards, libraries, and templates for consistent delivery.
• Perform quality control reviews of models and drawings for compliance.
• Support BIM Execution Plans and established workflows.
• Extract model information and quantities for project planning and cost estimation.
• Assist in consultant model coordination and BIM data exchange.
• Utilize BIM tools and automation to improve efficiency and quality.
• Collaborate with project architects, engineers, and contractors for constructability.
