Job summary

Covala Group, part of NFP and an Aon company, is hiring a Billing Associate to manage client billing processes and collaborate with internal teams. The role follows a Monday–Friday schedule, with initial NYC office training up to three days a week for the first three months.

After training, a hybrid or remote option may be available. The ideal candidate has strong client service experience, detail orientation, and Excel proficiency.

Qualifications

• Experience with client/customer service, preferably in a corporate setting.
• Attention to detail with a high level of accountability and ownership of work.
• Resourcefulness and ability to consult and work with others.
• Strong ability to prioritize tasks and manage time and deadlines.
• A team-oriented, friendly collaborative attitude.
• Excel fluency is required with ability to develop pivot tables, VLOOKUP, formulas, graphs, etc.
• Proficient in MS Office Suite.

Responsibilities

• Preparing and sending out payroll files to clients for processing.
• Handling client invoicing and payment processing.
• Analyzing data pertaining to the billing function.
• Responsible for interacting with clients and carriers and helping with any billing-related inquiries.
• Assisting with the implementation of new clients from a billing standpoint.
