CURE Auto Insurance is seeking a BI claims handler to manage non-litigation auto claims in a hybrid work setting with onsite days in Princeton, NJ or Detroit, MI. The role requires 2+ years of BI claims handling experience and strong communication skills for superior customer service.

Salary ranges from $60,320 to $79,040 annually and includes comprehensive benefits such as health, dental, vision, and 401(k) with company match. Local in Princeton or Detroit preferred.

Qualifications

• 2+ years BI claims handling experience.

• Proficient with MS Office and related tech.

Responsibilities

• Investigate validity of claims, evaluate policy coverages, and determine if referrals are warranted.
• Make prompt contact with policyholders and involved parties to obtain documentation and conduct statements.
• Establish initial reserves and adjust as needed through completion of claim.
• Negotiate settlements with claimants, attorneys, or other parties and issue payments as required.
• Identify fraud indicators and alert the special investigation unit when applicable.
• Maintain organized diary system to ensure timely handling of claims.
