Progressive seeks a claims adjuster specialist to manage attorney-represented bodily injury claims with independence and collaboration. The role offers a hybrid work schedule requiring four days per month in-office and opportunities for growth through coaching.

Responsibilities include determining coverage, negotiating with attorneys, settling claims, and analyzing medical reports to ensure efficient resolution. A valid driver’s license and auto insurance are required.

Qualifications

• Four years of relevant work experience with one year in claims handling.
• OR Associate's degree and three years relevant work experience with one year in claims handling
• OR Bachelor's degree and one year in claims handling
• This position requires a valid driver's license and auto insurance.

Responsabilités

• Determines coverage and liability
• Negotiate with claimants or their attorneys
• Settle claims and set reserves
• Estimates cost of treatment or compensation for those injured in accidents
• Analyze and interpret medical reports, follow-up with no-fault parties, and manage claims process to ensure efficient resolution
• Interview, collect and document information from various people such as claimants, agents/brokers, attorneys, and police
