Job summary

Placements24 is seeking a diligent Business Intelligence Analyst for our growing client in Upington, South Africa. You will transform raw data into actionable insights, develop BI reports and dashboards, and support decision-making across departments.

You'll work in a dynamic hybrid setup, collaborating with IT and business teams, leveraging Power BI/Tableau, and applying SQL to optimize data models and ETL processes while communicating findings clearly to stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Information Systems, Statistics, or a related field.
• 2+ years of experience in business intelligence, data analysis, or a related role.
• Proficiency with BI tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or QlikView.
• Strong SQL skills for data extraction and manipulation.
• Understanding of data warehousing concepts and ETL processes.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to explain complex data clearly.
• Familiarity with data visualization best practices.
• Ability to work effectively in a hybrid team environment.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain business intelligence reports and dashboards using BI tools.
• Analyze data to identify trends, patterns, and insights that support business objectives.
