Placements24 is seeking a Junior Business Analyst for a dynamic financial services client in South Africa. You will bridge business needs and data solutions, performing analysis, creating dashboards, and supporting BI initiatives in a hybrid on-site/remote environment.

You will work with Excel, SQL, and BI tools such as Tableau or Power BI, develop reports, gather requirements, and contribute to project lifecycles.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Systems, Computer Science, Statistics, or a related field.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail.
• Familiarity with Agile development methodologies is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assist in gathering and documenting business requirements from stakeholders across various departments.
• Perform data analysis to identify trends, patterns, and insights that can inform business strategy.
• Develop reports and dashboards to visualize key performance indicators (KPIs) and present findings clearly.
• Collaborate with the IT and development teams to translate business requirements into technical specifications.
• Support the testing and implementation of new systems and processes.
• Participate in project meetings and contribute to the overall project lifecycle.
• Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify opportunities for improvement.
• Maintain documentation related to business processes and data models.
