Placements24 is seeking a detailed and analytical Data Analyst to join the Business Intelligence team in Upington. You will collect, clean, analyze, and interpret complex datasets to deliver actionable insights that drive business decisions.

This hybrid role offers growth within a supportive team and direct contribution to strategic planning and performance monitoring. The ideal candidate has a Bachelor's degree in a quantitative field and 2+ years of Data Analyst experience, with strong skills

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, Computer Science, or a related quantitative field.
2+ years of experience as a Data Analyst or in a similar role.
Proficiency in SQL, Python, or R.
Experience with BI tools (Power BI, Tableau, Qlik Sense) for data visualization and reporting.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with meticulous attention to detail.
Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to explain complex data insights effectively.

Responsibilities

Collect, clean, and transform data from various sources to ensure accuracy and integrity.
Develop and maintain BI reports, dashboards, and visualizations using Power BI, Tableau, or Qlik Sense.
Analyze trends, patterns, and KPIs to identify business opportunities and risks.
Interpret complex data sets and communicate findings clearly to technical and non-technical audiences.
Collaborate with different departments to understand their data requirements and provide analytical support.
Assist in defining data requirements and contribute to data governance initiatives.
