Placements24 is seeking a Senior BI Developer to enhance data analytics capabilities, designing data warehouses, dashboards, and reports. This hybrid role combines collaboration at our East London office with remote flexibility and a focus on data-driven strategies.

The ideal candidate brings 5+ years in BI, strong SQL, and proficiency with Tableau, Power BI, and QlikView, along with ETL experience and solid data modeling knowledge.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Statistics, or related field.
• 5+ years of experience in BI development, data warehousing, or analytics.
• Strong SQL skills and experience with relational databases (SQL Server/Oracle/PostgreSQL).
• Hands-on experience with BI tools (Tableau, Power BI, QlikView).
• ETL design/development with SSIS, Informatica, or Talend.
• Solid data modeling knowledge (Kimball, Inmon) and warehousing concepts.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication abilities.
• Experience in an agile development environment is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and implement data models, ETL processes, and BI solutions.
• Create and maintain interactive dashboards and reports with clear insights.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to translate reporting needs into specs.
• Ensure data accuracy, integrity, and consistency across BI solutions.
• Optimize data warehouse performance and ETL jobs for efficiency.
• Troubleshoot data issues and provide ongoing BI tool support.
• Stay current with BI/data analytics trends and technologies.
• Develop and maintain technical docs for BI solutions and processes.
• Mentor junior BI developers and contribute to analytics team growth.
• Conduct data analysis to identify trends and opportunities for improvement.
