Job summary

SDI Staffing in Encinitas, CA is seeking an experienced Employee Benefits Account Manager for a North County San Diego-based insurance agency. You will build relationships with business owners, HR teams, and employees, guiding renewals and managing ongoing service needs.

The role offers a remote-hybrid schedule (in-office 2 days per week), Monday–Friday, with a base salary range of $70,000 to $130,000, depending on experience and skills.

Qualifications

• Prior experience managing employer group health insurance and employee benefits accounts.
• Familiarity with group medical and ancillary benefits, renewals, enrollment and billing.
• Licensing in California Life, Accident and Health is preferred or willingness to obtain.

Responsibilities

• Provide responsive, personalized service by phone, email, video, and client meetings; conduct proactive check-ins.
• Explain benefits options, carrier processes, enrollments, and renewals clearly.
• Resolve eligibility, enrollment, billing, claims and carrier service issues; pursue resolution.
• Maintain Salesforce records, client documentation, and follow-up notes.
