Job summary

Ability Builders in Ankeny, IA is seeking a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) for a hybrid role. You will lead assessments, design and monitor treatment plans, and supervise staff while engaging families for generalization of skills.

The position offers flexible scheduling, paid professional development, and a collaborative clinical team. Prior BCBA leadership experience is preferred, with opportunities to advance and impact outcomes for children with Autism Spectrum Disorder.

Qualifications

• BCBA supervision experience and leadership in clinical settings.
• Experience developing and monitoring individualized treatment plans and behavioral interventions.
• Ability to train staff and communicate with families across settings (center, home, school, community).

Responsibilities

• Lead initial/ongoing assessments and skill evaluations for clients.
• Develop and monitor Individual Treatment Plans and Behavior Intervention Plans.
• Provide regular staff training and supervision with feedback for progress.
• Facilitate caregiver meetings and training to ensure open communication.
• Submit required documents for audits and compliance.
• Mentor staff and foster a positive, collaborative culture.
• Remain current with licensure, certifications and state requirements.
• Coordinate care with families and multidisciplinary teams.
• Support professional development activities and knowledge sharing.
