Sound Community Bank is seeking a part-time Client Support Relief Specialist based at the Sequim Creekside branch to cover multiple locations including Port Angeles and Port Ludlow as needed.

The role blends teller duties with client support, including virtual transactions and video engagement, requiring 3–5 years CSR/teller experience, strong communication, confidentiality, and the ability to work independently or with a team; occasional lifting up to 25 pounds is expected.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• 3–5 years CSR, Teller, or Retail Banking experience preferred.
• Strong written and interpersonal communication skills.
• Ability to elicit client information to strengthen relationships.
• Comfortable with emerging technologies and multi-tasking across systems.
• Attention to detail and confidentiality are essential.
• Must comply with BSA and regulatory requirements.
• Ability to travel between branches and lift up to 25 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Float between branches to provide coverage and continuity of service during staffing gaps or peak periods.
• Provide excellent customer service and respond to inquiries in a timely manner.
• Assist with cross-selling and refer to appropriate business lines as needed.
• Complete required training on schedule and maintain compliant practices.
• Handle deposits, payments, transfers, and cash drawer balancing.
• Support centralized Client Support operations with phone coverage and eBanking escalations.
• Investigate client questions and problems, providing clear solutions and ownership of interactions.
