Job description

Sound Credit Union is seeking a Part‑Time Teller / Member Service Representative to join the team at its Burien Branch.

Your Compensation

The target salary range for this position is $20.00 – $22.50 depending on previous experience and education, with a full salary range of $20.00 – $25.00. Eligible for a $1,500 Sign‑On Bonus ($500 paid on first paycheck, $1,000 on the check following the 6‑month anniversary). In addition, incentives and quarterly bonuses are available.

What You’ll Do

• Assist members with financial transactions, respond to inquiries, and build relationships to deliver exceptional service.

Requirements

• One year of experience in a customer service position; cash handling and retail sales experience preferred.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Must be bondable.
• Employer sponsorship to secure or maintain employment authorization is not available.
• Notary and NMLS certifications required for UA II level and above, requiring U.S. citizenship or permanent legal residency per Washington State law.

Hours

This part‑time position requires an in‑person schedule of 30–34 hours per week, including Saturdays. Shifts rotate between Monday–Friday (8:45 AM–5:15 PM or 9:15 AM–5:45 PM) and Saturdays (8:45 AM–1:15 PM), providing a day off during the week.
