Job summary

BankUnited in Stuart, Florida, is hiring a Teller/Platform associate responsible for handling deposits, cash transactions and customer service. You will balance drawers, promote Bank products, and assist clients with various accounts.

The role requires 2–3 years of cash handling, strong customer service and the ability to train in Teller and Platform functions. Training is provided, with a sign-on bonus for successful completion of six months.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2-3 years of cash handling experience.
• Excellent customer service, sales, risk management and cash operations experience preferred.
• Must be fully trained in both Teller and Platform functions

Responsibilities

• Receive checks and cash for deposits, verify amounts and endorsements.
• Cash checks and pay out money after verification of signatures and customer balances.
• Enter transactions into the computer and issue receipts.
• Balance currency, coin and checks in cash drawer at end of shift.
• Explain and promote Bank products or services to meet branch goals.
• Cross-train on Platform products and assist clients with related activities.
• Open and process accounts after consulting with customers to meet needs.
• Refer customers to appropriate product lines to satisfy needs.
• Respond to customer inquiries professionally and adhere to laws and policies.
