Job summary

BankUnited in Miami is seeking a diligent Teller/Platform Associate to handle deposits, withdrawals and everyday banking needs, with a 100% focus on client satisfaction and maintaining operational soundness. You will support both Teller and Platform functions while meeting branch goals.

The role emphasizes strong cash handling, accurate transaction processing, and proactive referrals of Bank products. Training is provided, and a sign‑on bonus awaits after six months of continuous service.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma or GED required.
• Minimum of 2-3 years of cash handling experience (preferably Teller).
• Excellent customer service, sales, risk management and cash operations experience preferred.
• Must be fully trained in both Teller and Platform functions.

Responsibilities

• Receives checks and cash for deposits and verifies amounts.
• Cashes checks and pays out money after verification of signatures and customer balances.
• Enters customers' transactions into computer and issues receipts.
• Balances currency, coin, and checks in cash drawer at end of shift.
