Job summary

BankUnited is seeking a Teller/Platform role in Florida to serve customers at the branch and assist with sales goals. You will handle cash transactions, balance drawers, and promote banking products while ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction.

The position requires 2–3 years of cash handling experience, strong customer service skills, and full training in Teller and Platform functions. Training is provided at designated locations, with potential travel for onboarding.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2–3 years of cash handling experience (preferably Teller).
• Excellent customer service, sales, risk management and cash operations experience preferred.
• Must be fully trained in both Teller and Platform functions.

Responsibilities

• Receive checks and cash for deposit, verify amount and endorsements.
• Cash checks and pay out money after verification of signatures and customer balances.
• Enter transactions into computer and issue receipts.
• Balance cash drawer and compare totals with computer data.
• Explain and promote Bank products or services and meet sales goals.
• Open and process various accounts based on customer needs.
• Cross-train on Platform products and assist clients with related activities.
• Respond to customer inquiries and problems professionally.
