Job summary

V-Soft Consulting is hiring a Database Infrastructure Engineer for a hybrid role in Atlanta, GA. You'll design, implement, and manage database infrastructure across Azure, MS SQL Server, and Windows Server environments.

The ideal candidate has certifications in database technologies and experience with PowerApps, Power BI, Power Automate, and strong scripting (PowerShell/SSIS). You will support CI/CD and DevOps workflows and ensure data governance.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, or related field.
Strong expertise in MS SQL Server, Windows Server, and Azure Cloud.
Advanced scripting with PowerShell and SSIS for automation.
Solid understanding of storage, network, and cloud infrastructure (Azure).
Excellent troubleshooting skills under pressure for production incidents.
Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, DevOps processes and .NET applications.
Experience with PowerApps, Power BI Services, Power Automate.

Responsibilities

Design, configure, provision, and manage Azure Cloud services and Windows Server configurations.
Automate database jobs, maintenance tasks, and ETL workflows.
Write and maintain scripts (SSIS, PowerShell) for DBA tasks and deployments.
Tune performance, optimize queries, and manage indexing strategies.
Maintain high availability and DR; provide 24/7 support as needed.
Collaborate with IT teams on environment configuration, IIS, and security best practices.
