Nationwide Mutual Insurance Company in Columbus is seeking a Director of AI Enablement to set strategic direction for AI adoption across the Property & Casualty business.

You will align AI capabilities with business goals, lead large-scale transformation, manage a team, and partner with HR to shape the AI workforce.

This role requires 10+ years in AI or digital transformation and a track record delivering measurable value.

Formación

• Undergraduate degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Business, or a related field.
• 10+ years of AI or digital transformation experience.
• Experience with agile delivery methodologies and product management/owner principles.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Knowledge of ML, NLP, generative AI.

Responsabilidades

• Identify high-impact AI opportunities with business leaders.
• Translate challenges into strategic AI initiatives and enablement roadmaps.
• Oversee data readiness assessments and data strategy alignment.
• Plan and deploy AI programs across the business segment.
• Maintain an AI opportunities backlog aligned to priorities.
• Ensure governance, regulatory, and ethical AI practices.
• Promote AI literacy and drive organizational change.
• Define enterprise KPIs to measure AI program success.
• Partner with enterprise architecture and data teams.
• Lead talent strategy and salary planning; manage associates.
