Job summary

LeoForce is seeking a mid-level Avionics Systems Engineer to support a leading aerospace customer on TCAS and CNS applications. The role requires 5+ years in avionics systems engineering, with full lifecycle experience on embedded systems or software.

You will decompose requirements in DOORs, participate in SSA per ARP4761, and coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure certification readiness. Hybrid work: 2–3 days onsite in Phoenix, relocation aid provided; U.S. Citizenship required.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in Avionics Systems Engineering.
• Full life-cycle experience on avionics embedded systems or software.
• Experience decomposing and tracing requirements in DOORs.
• Experience with System Safety Assessment (SSA) per ARP4761.

Responsibilities

• Decompose and trace customer requirements to high-level system requirements in DOORs.
• Perform formal reviews of system requirements.
• Collaborate with cross-functional hardware/software teams.
• Support system validation, verification testing, and certification activities.
