Job summary

Zurich North America is seeking a Claims Specialist I to join our Auto Direct Markets Claims Team. The role involves interpreting, investigating, and evaluating auto policies and coverage issues while mastering claims handling best practices.

You will manage auto liability, property damage, and garagekeepers losses, owning claims from start to finish and delivering exceptional service. A hybrid work schedule and in-office collaboration are encouraged to support performance and development.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree with 2+ years in Claims or Insurance OR
• HS diploma with 4+ years in Claims or Insurance OR
• Completion of Zurich Claims Training Program with 2+ years in Claims OR
• Zurich Certified Insurance Apprentice with Associate Degree and 2+ years in Claims

Responsibilities

• Interpret, investigate and evaluate auto policies and coverage issues.
• Manage auto liability, property damage and garagekeepers losses.
• Own claims from start to finish and resolve them efficiently.
• Build partnerships with customers and brokers.
