Job summary

Zurich North America is hiring a Claims Specialist I in a Hybrid role. You will interpret, investigate, and evaluate auto policies, manage auto liability and garagekeepers losses, and own claims from start to finish while partnering with customers and brokers.

Successful candidates will have 2+ years in claims or insurance, a relevant degree or Zurich training, and be eligible for adjuster licenses. The role reports to the Auto Direct Markets Claims Team, with offices in Dallas/Addison,

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree or higher and 2+ years in Claims/Insurance
• High School Diploma with 4+ years in Claims/Insurance
• completion of Zurich Claims Training Program + 2+ years
• Zurich Certified Insurance Apprentice with Associate Degree + 2+ years
• Must obtain and maintain adjuster licenses
• Knowledge of insurance regulations and products
• Prior auto claims handling or related customer service experience

Responsibilities

• Interpret, investigate, and evaluate auto policies and coverage issues
• Manage auto liability, property damage, and Direct Market/Garagekeepers losses
• Own claims from start to finish and resolve efficiently
• Build partnerships with customers and brokers and provide service excellence
