Qualifications

• Associate degree required; bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent experience.
• Typically 2–3 years of front-line auto claim handling and investigation.
• Strong communication and negotiation skills, with empathy for customers.

Responsibilities

• Manage an active inventory of 80–120 moderately complex claims from intake to resolution.
• Conduct investigations, assess liability, evaluate damages, and negotiate settlements.
• Coordinate with underwriting, legal, and other stakeholders for comprehensive evaluations.
• Identify subrogation potential and set up files to support recovery efforts.
• Mentor entry-level adjusters and share best practices learned through training.
• Represent the company in mediations, arbitrations, and trials as needed.
• Maintain detailed, compliant documentation of claim activities and communications.
