Job summary

Epiq is seeking an Atlassian Platform Engineer to administer, optimize, integrate, and govern Jira, Confluence, Jira Service Management, and Bitbucket. You will partner with Engineering, IT, and Product teams to deliver scalable governance and automation across the software lifecycle.

Ideal candidates will have 3+ years in Atlassian administration, strong ITIL/ITSM understanding, and experience with REST APIs and cloud infrastructure.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience administering and supporting Atlassian products.

Responsibilities

• Design best practices with multiple teams to build stable, highly available solutions.
• Lead end-to-end project lifecycles from initiation to handoff.
• Fully document each project in run books and ensure proper handoffs to operations.
• Perform major application upgrades and updates.
• Collaborate with IT and non-IT teams for future projects and define scope.
• Analyze issues and events for the operations team and optimize SLAs.
• Create and maintain up-to-date documentation for all supported systems.
• Support disaster recovery planning and testing.
