Job summary

Black & Decker is hiring an Associate Product Manager in Towson, MD, with hybrid work (3 days on-site, 2 days remote) and up to 10% travel. You will manage the product lifecycle with guidance, work with engineering, manufacturing and finance to drive new products, and develop launch programs with marketing and channel teams.

You will craft pricing strategies, develop collateral, and conduct end-user research to inform short- and long-term plans for a profitable product portfolio.

Qualifications

• BS or BA in Marketing, Business Administration, Finance, Engineering, or equivalent experience.
• 0-3 years of Product Management experience.
• Ability to work effectively across functions and lead teams.
• Excellent written and verbal communications skills.
• Experience using Microsoft Office Suite required.

Responsibilities

• With guidance, manages the complete product lifecycle process, alongside the Product Manager, from concept to delivery.
• Collaborate with engineering, manufacturing and finance to drive and develop new products that meet company objectives.
• Develop and implement launch programs with brand marketing and channel teams to promote your portfolio.
• Create marketing collateral, point-of-purchase displays, advertising materials and web content.
• Conduct end-user and competitive market research to determine pricing, margin and profitability targets.
• Develop and execute short- and long-term strategic plans for a profitable retail and industrial product portfolio.
• Support end-user research on active construction job sites and gather real-world feedback.
