Job summary

Prudential Financial, Inc. is seeking an Associate Manager, Financial Reporting, to support the Individual Retirement Controllers Team. The role focuses on GAAP and Statutory reporting, with involvement in quarterly close and disclosures for U.S. GAAP and statutory bases.

The position requires on-site presence three days per week in a hybrid setup, with collaboration across Finance, Capital, P&A, and Corporate teams to deliver accurate financial insights and timely disclosures.

Qualifications

• Strong collaboration and communication abilities, verbal and written.
• Proficient in Excel and financial reporting tooling.
• Ability to analyze, challenge, and influence financial matters.
• Experience managing multiple deliverables under tight deadlines.
• CPA preferred and knowledge of insurance accounting is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Understand and prepare quarterly and annual financial reporting deliverables for GAAP and Statutory.
• Ensure financial statements are accurate and communicated timely with controlled processes.
• Analyze trends and variances in segment income statements and balance sheets.
• Support SEC 10-Q and 10-K filings.
• Support reinsurance arrangements and related analytics.
• Assist with ad hoc requests for strategic initiatives.
• Drive process improvements and efficiencies.
