Job summary

Transamerica is seeking an actuarial leader to consolidate, analyze, and report insurance financial results. You will partner with cross-functional teams to evaluate drivers of performance, communicate insights to management, and drive financial reporting initiatives.

The role requires FSA or equivalent, 5+ years of actuarial experience, and strong leadership. Hybrid work with occasional travel within the United States.

Qualifications

• Fellow of the Society of Actuaries (FSA) or equivalent designation preferred.
• Bachelor's degree in Actuarial Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Economics, Finance, or related quantitative field, plus 5+ years actuarial experience.
• In lieu of a Bachelor's degree, a Master's degree in a related field and 4+ years actuarial experience may be considered.
• In lieu of an FSA designation, ASA or equivalent with 8+ years actuarial experience may be considered.
• Demonstrates leadership, judgment, organization and prioritization skills.
• Strong communication of complex concepts to diverse audiences.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and deliver actuarial reports, analyses, and management insights.
• Lead IFRS 17 FMI package preparation and related exhibits.
• Collaborate with valuation, investments, ALM, and other partners across life, health, and annuity lines.
• Develop and maintain reporting exhibits and analytics for management.
