Job summary

FMNE Insurance is seeking an Associate Actuary in the Actuarial Department. This role focuses on data-driven insights for pricing, design, and loss reserving analyses. The ideal candidate collaborates across units to address business questions and supports strategic decisions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in actuarial science, mathematics, statistics, or related field.
• ACAS designation.
• Minimum four years actuarial experience preferred.
• Experience with P&C pricing and reserving preferred.
• Advanced Excel and MS Office skills.
• Proficiency in VBA, Python, R, SQL.
• Strong analytical and communication abilities.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively.

Responsibilities

• Perform actuarial analyses to solve business problems.
• Develop and validate actuarial models and datasets.
• Collaborate with other units to provide analytical support.
• Ensure data quality and data processes are maintained.
• Maintain and improve actuarial tools and procedures.
• Train peers in the Actuarial department.
• Attend regular in-office presence as required.
