Questpro Consultants LLC in Fairfax, VA is seeking an Assistant Risk Manager to join its in-house risk team. This corporate role focuses on managing insurance programs, renewals, and loss analysis with exposure to property, casualty, and enterprise risk.

You will work hybrid, four days in-office and one at home, reporting to the VP of Risk Management. The role offers growth under a mentoring leadership and exposure to top-tier real estate portfolios.

Formación

• 5 years of commercial property and casualty experience in corporate risk management, brokerage or carrier underwriting.
• Strong knowledge of property, casualty and specialty insurance programs.
• Hands-on claims management experience, including liability claims.
• Advanced Excel skills and comfort analyzing data and drawing sound conclusions.
• Excellent written, verbal and presentation skills.
• Ability to work independently and partner with internal and external stakeholders.
• Bachelor’s degree in Risk Management, Business, Finance or related field, or equivalent experience.

Responsabilidades

• Compile underwriting data for renewals and quotes, including property values and liability exposures.
• Evaluate exposures and recommend coverage for Property, General Liability, Umbrella, Workers’ Compensation, D&O, Cyber and specialty lines.
• Coordinate with brokers and carriers on endorsements, cancellations and policy transactions.
• Maintain accurate policy records, limits and renewal dates.
• Allocate insurance premiums across properties and entities.
• Oversee claims from intake through investigation to settlement or trial.
• Partner with adjusters, defense counsel and property managers to drive claims to resolution.
• Monitor claims handled by national carriers and ensure service levels.
