Job summary

PenFed Credit Union in Tysons, Virginia is seeking a Hybrid Risk Analyst for Enterprise Risk Management & Internal Controls to support the ERM framework and reporting. You will work with ERM management and business units to identify, monitor, and report risks while assisting with risk appetite metrics and Board materials.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree in business or related field and at least one year in financial services, GRC or audit, plus strong Excel, Word, PowerPoint skills and

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business or related field and relevant experience required.
• Minimum of 1 year in financial services, preferably banking or credit union.
• Minimum of 1 year in governance, risk, compliance or audit.
• Strong skills in Excel, Word and PowerPoint; working knowledge of GRC tools.
• Ability to work well with others and communicate clearly with partners and management.
• Experience using AI tools is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintain ERM policies, processes, procedures, tools, and systems to support accuracy and effectiveness.
• Collaborate with ERM management and business units to identify, aggregate, monitor, and report risk.
• Support analysis of risk appetite metrics, tolerance limits, and escalation thresholds.
• Gather data, perform analysis, and draft materials for ERM management review.
• Collect, organize, and track business unit risks related to programs.
• Assist with information for NCUA queries and board reporting.
• Support enterprise risk assessment, department risk assessments, capital planning, and performance management.
• Prepare analysis and presentation materials for risk committees and Board.
• Work with risk tracking software applications.
