Job summary

MRA Group is seeking an Assistant Property Manager to act as the right arm of the Property Manager, coordinating between property management, project management, and facility teams. You will serve tenants, clients, and vendors as a representative and support operations across multiple properties.

The role offers a hybrid schedule with a strong emphasis on teamwork, growth, and consistent communication. A Bachelor’s degree or equivalent training is required, and travel is a component of the role.

Qualifications

• 3 years of Property Management or coordination experience preferred.
• Must be able to travel day-to-day.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Direct day-to-day activities of loss prevention, risk management, safety/security, maintenance, marketing, landscaping, snow removal, tenant build-out, and other building operations.
• Work with the Property Manager to develop operating income/expense budgets and capital budgets.
• Prepare budgets and provide ongoing accounting reporting tools; manage budget administration and corrective action planning.
• Maintain complete and accurate property files and records and coordinate with corporate support staff.
• Liaise with Maintenance Services and vendors, develop specifications, and evaluate service needs and performance for maintenance and management.
• Coordinate activities not directly controlled by the manager but related to each property, e.g., insurance monitoring, leasing, marketing, promotions, capital improvements, accounting/financial reporting, and legal services.
• Establish collaborative working relationships between departments and with project team members.
• Prepare for team meetings and act as chairperson when needed.
• Keep abreast of new technologies, systems, and procedures related to property management.
