Job summary

Sally Beauty Holdings is seeking an Assistant Construction Project Manager for a hybrid role (2 days/wk in Denton, TX Support Center). You will oversee schedules, budgets, and staffing for Sally Beauty, CosmoProf, and Happy Beauty store projects, coordinating with Architecture & Engineering and field teams.

The role requires strong communication, budgeting abilities, and CAD familiarity, with experience in multi-site projects and vendor coordination.

Qualifications

• High School diploma required; some college preferred.
• Strong communication skills across management levels.
• Prior multi-site coordination experience desirable, preferably in real estate or construction.
• Strong organizational skills and basic understanding of commercial building services and provider networks.
• Experience with CAD software is a plus.
• Excellent PC and Microsoft Excel skills.
• Ability to analyze basic accounting and budget reconsolidation.
• Self-starter able to work in defined and unstructured situations and identify improvements.

Responsibilities

• Assemble construction project packages and assign field project managers to new stores and relocations; manage pre-construction schedules and budgets.
• Analyze and recommend bid contractor selections, supervise bid process, present to in-house PM.
• Manage process adherence and progress reporting; review schedule updates, monitor spend vs budget, coordinate permits and inspections, log data.
• Review, approve, and process invoices; negotiate change orders and approve cost increases.
• Coordinate utility accounts for new stores with local utilities to transfer ownership.
• Identify and align TIA landlord funding with lease renewal Real Estate projects; develop scope and timeline.
