Job summary

Onbe is hiring a Financial Operations Staff Accountant in the Dallas area. You will reconcile financial records, identify discrepancies, and support the finance team to ensure accurate reporting and compliance.

The role blends on-site collaboration with remote work while handling month-end tasks and process improvements. The position requires a bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance and 3+ years of experience, with strong Excel skills; Great Plains is a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or related field (or equivalent).
• 3+ years of accounting or bookkeeping experience.
• Familiarity with general accounting principles and basic financial reporting.
• Proficiency in Excel; Great Plains experience a plus.
• High attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Knowledge of regulatory requirements in finance and accounting.

Responsibilities

• Reconciliations of financial records including bank statements and GL accounts.
• Identify and help resolve basic discrepancies in financial data.
• Ensure accuracy in financial transactions and maintain records.
• Assist in preparing standard financial reports for internal use.
• Support compliance with internal controls and policies.
• Collaborate with finance and other departments on daily accounting ops.
• Explore automation opportunities to improve reconciliation efficiency.
