Job summary

GT's Living Foods is seeking a hands-on AR & Deductions Manager to lead our Accounts Receivable team and own the full back end of order-to-cash: deductions, credit, collections, and cash application. Reporting to the Controller, this role leads a team of AR Coordinators, sets the team's priorities and standards, and is accountable for results: deductions recovered, DSO, deduction aging, and a controlled, audit-ready process.

This is a working manager role.

Qualifications

• 5–7+ years of AR, collections, and deductions in CPG food or beverage.
• Experience resolving deductions with Walmart, Kroger, Costco, and Target.
• 3+ years people management with KPIs and performance reviews.
• Ownership of credit and collections, including DSO improvement.
• Understanding of trade promotion mechanics and trade accruals.
• GAAP knowledge for AR and revenue recognition.
• Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, lookups, data modeling).
• Strong communication and negotiation with customers.

Responsibilities

• Lead AR Coordinators and manage deductions lifecycle end-to-end.
• Oversee validation of trade and non-trade deductions.
• Lead complex disputes with UNFI, KEHE, and major retailers.
• Ensure timely dispute windows and aging reviews.
• Own month-end close for AR and deductions.
• Develop SOPs and controls for AR workflows.
• Lead platform implementation of deduction management (Confido or similar) on Dynamics 365.
