Job summary

Capgemini is seeking a Forward Deployed Engineer (Applied AI) to lead end‑to‑end development of agentic AI applications from prototype to production at client sites. You will design multi‑agent workflows, integrate AI with enterprise systems, and implement observability and MLOps practices to ensure scalable, secure deployments.

The role requires strong Python, GCP, Terraform experience and a proven track record in delivering production AI/ML solutions within complex environments.

Qualifications

• Proficient Python or similar language.
• Strong experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
• Hands-on with Terraform or similar IaC tools.
• Expertise deploying AI/ML in production.
• Experience building full‑stack apps integrated with enterprise systems.
• Strong understanding of APIs, microservices, networking, security, and integrations.
• Experience with MLOps, monitoring, logging and observability.

Responsibilities

• Lead development and deployment of Conversational AI and Agentic AI solutions, turning prototypes into production-grade apps.
• Design multi-agent systems, conversational workflows, and AI-powered CX solutions.
• Build integrations between AI platforms and enterprise environments (APIs, legacy systems, data platforms, security).
• Develop evaluation pipelines, observability frameworks, and monitoring to optimize AI performance and reliability.
• Troubleshoot and optimize agent behavior, reasoning workflows, tooling, latency, and efficiency.
• Use IaC tools like Terraform to automate cloud deployments and networking configurations.
• Partner with customer engineering teams to deliver AI solutions while promoting best practices and adoption.
