Job summary

Capgemini is seeking a Forward Deployed Engineer (FDE) in Applied AI to own end-to-end delivery of cutting-edge Conversational AI solutions at major client sites. You will transform prototypes into scalable, production-grade AI systems that integrate with customers\' live infrastructure and data ecosystems.

You will lead multi-agent workflows, optimize tool selection, and ensure security, latency, and observability while working hybrid across multiple locations, including Atlanta.

Qualifications

• 10 years of experience with Python or similar coding languages.
• Lead developer for complex Conversational AI and CX applications delivering production-grade agentic workflows.
• Experience architecting AI systems on cloud platforms (e.g., GCP).
• Experience deploying resources via Terraform to automate setup of agents, functions, or networking.

Responsibilities

• Lead technical delivery for Conversational AI pilots at customer sites.
• Transform rapid prototypes into production-ready agentic workflows.
• Collaborate with customer engineering teams to apply best practices and ensure long-term project success.
• Build high-performance evaluation pipelines and observability frameworks for low-latency, secure AI systems.
