Job summary

Capgemini seeks an experienced software developer to design and implement Python-based services and AI-enabled applications across hybrid locations including Nashville. You will build agent workflows, integrate tools and APIs, and deploy on Google Cloud using secure, observable practices.

The role requires 4+ years of Python experience, cloud and containerization expertise (GCP preferred; Azure/AWS acceptable), and familiarity with GenAI concepts.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of Python development experience.
• Hands-on cloud experience with at least one major provider (GCP preferred; Azure or AWS also acceptable).
• Experience with containerization/orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Familiarity with CI/CD concepts and GitLab CI/CD or equivalents.
• Experience with REST APIs and JSON data exchange.
• Exposure to GenAI concepts (LLMs, prompts, embeddings).
• Familiar with Google Cloud console, Vertex AI/Agent Platform is a plus.

Your role

Your skills and experience

• 4 plus years experience working on Python: scripting, API integration, and application-level development
• Cloud Platforms: hands-on experience with at least one major cloud provider (GCP preferred; Strong Azure or AWS also acceptable) compute, networking, IAM, and basic service deployment
• Experience in deployment with containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes)
• Understanding/Exp of CI/CD concepts and tools (GitLab CI/CD or equivalent)
• Understanding working exp of REST APIs and JSON-based data exchange
• Prior exposure to GenAI concepts (LLMs, prompt engineering, embeddings)
• Familiarity with Google Cloud console navigation and Vertex AI / Agent Platform tools Preferred
