Job summary

Capgemini is seeking a Forward Deployed Engineer (FDE) in Applied AI to lead AI pilot deployments for major clients. You will transform rapid prototypes into production systems and own end-to-end engineering, including security and scalable architectures.

The role requires strong Python/MLOps skills, cloud experience (GCP), and a track record of delivering high-traffic, enterprise-grade solutions with best practices.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related field.
• 5 years of Python software development experience.
• Experience architecting AI systems on cloud platforms (e.g., GCP).
• Experience deploying resources via Terraform or similar tools.

Responsibilities

• Lead development for Conversational AI pilots and customer-facing implementations.
• Build production-grade agent-based workflows with secure integration to client infrastructure.
• Design eval pipelines and observability for complex AI workloads.
• Integrate agents with enterprise knowledge bases and optimize RAG.
