Job summary

Optomi, in partnership with a global enterprise technology and IT consulting leader, seeks a Forward Deployed Engineer to deliver Agentic AI solutions within client environments. This hands-on role collaborates with business users to translate processes into production AI workflows.

Responsibilities include designing, configuring, and implementing AI workflows and agents; building integrations and data flows; and supporting adoption across stakeholders.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in software/application development, automation engineering, integration engineering, or a similar hands-on technical role.
• Hands-on experience with Agentic AI, AI agents, GenAI applications, or agent-enabled workflows.
• Experience with technologies such as LangGraph, LangChain, AutoGen, CrewAI, Semantic Kernel, MCP, or similar Agentic AI frameworks.
• Experience building APIs, integrations, workflow automation, or orchestration solutions.
• Cloud experience with AWS, Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud.
• Ability to work directly with non-technical business users and translate business processes into working technical solutions.
• Strong troubleshooting and production support capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Design, configure, and implement Agentic AI workflows and AI agents.
• Translate business processes and client use cases into technical solutions.
• Configure agent workflows, triggers, automation logic, and human-in-the-loop interactions.
• Build and support integrations, APIs, connectors, and data flows.
• Validate solutions against functional and non-functional requirements.
• Troubleshoot issues across development, testing, deployment, and production.
• Work directly with business and technical stakeholders throughout implementation.
• Participate in sprint planning, backlog refinement, testing, and agile delivery.
• Support adoption and successful use of newly implemented AI workflows.
