Job summary

Sunrise Banks is seeking an Applications Support and Development professional in a hybrid role based near St. Paul, MN.

You will implement, integrate, maintain, and support applications across Sunrise's ecosystem, including workflow automation and release upgrades, while providing root cause analysis and improvement recommendations. You will act as a liaison between business users, infrastructure teams, software vendors, and end users, with some programming to develop queries and reports.

Qualifications

• 2 Year college degree or equivalent experience preferred.
• 3+ years of Application Support and Development experience required.
• RDBMS or NOSQL database experience preferred.
• Experience with Salesforce, workflow automation tools, and financial applications preferred.
• Some experience in .NET or equivalent programming language.
• Experience working in AGILE or equivalent methodology.
• Experience in the financial industry preferred.
• Demonstrates ability to work effectively with AI tools and maintains an open, curious approach to emerging technologies.
• High competency in Microsoft Office applications required.

Responsibilities

• Ensure applications are functional, supported, and performant.
• Maintain knowledge of Sunrise’s application landscape architecture including application, infrastructure, and database components.
• Demonstrate problem-solving and troubleshooting skills in service of project completion.
• Participate in strategic projects including development and configuration of new and existing applications.
• Partner with business lines to understand how applications figure in critical business processes and provide technological solutions.
• Participate in support activities including ticket management and on-call rotation.
• Perform light integration work including API calls and database queries.
• Understand and manage integrations between applications.
• Work with vendors to test and implement application changes.
• Ensure high-quality documentation for installation and configuration of applications.
