Job summary
The Depository Trust & Clearing Corporation (DTCC) is seeking an Application Support Engineer (SRE) to ensure the availability, reliability, and performance of mission-critical CDTS-based applications. You will troubleshoot complex production issues, enhance monitoring, and automate operational tasks across cloud and container platforms.
In this role, you will collaborate with global teams, participate in incident response, and support releases and disaster recovery exercises.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
- Minimum 4+ years in Application/Production Support, SRE, DevOps, or related.
- Experience with enterprise applications in production environments.
Responsibilities
- Support mission-critical applications in production, ensuring availability, stability, performance.
- Monitor health, analyze alerts, and identify reliability risks.
- Troubleshoot issues across Java apps, SQL, Linux/Unix, messaging, and distributed systems.
- Participate in incident response, root-cause analysis, and post-incident actions.
- Collaborate with Development, Infrastructure, and Operations for issue resolution and improvements.
- Support releases, deployments, upgrades, changes, and production validation.
- Enhance monitoring, dashboards, and observability with Splunk, Grafana, Datadog.
