Job summary

Assurant is hiring a Sales Specialist to support the extended service contracts business for major appliances and consumer electronics. You will engage customers via inbound calls to identify and present sales opportunities, aiming to build long-term relationships while providing world-class service.

The role offers hourly pay plus commission with structured training and potential for remote work after an initial period.

Qualifications

High school diploma or GED is required.
6 months of customer service experience preferred.
Ability to work 8-hour shifts (40 hours/week) from 6:00 am MST to 6:00 pm MST.
Sales aptitude and a positive attitude are essential.
Must adhere to company policies and be able to adapt to change.

Responsibilities

Cultivate and develop customer relationships to identify and present sales opportunities.
Interact with customers via inbound calls to provide a positive call experience and protect what matters most to them.
Apply sales tools to identify cross-sale opportunities and sell extended service contracts.
Listen to customer needs to provide effective solutions and maintain customer satisfaction.
Resolve questions and maintain/update customer contracts and files.
Navigate multiple software programs for information gathering and processing.
Meet or exceed department metrics and goals.
This onsite role may transition to remote after an agreed period.
