Job summary

The University of Chicago seeks an Assistant Director of Leadership Annual Giving to advance the College's fundraising goals by managing strategic outreach to alumni nationwide. The role involves cultivating relationships, developing targeted strategies to qualify, solicit, and steward donors, and building a robust pipeline of future leaders.

Qualifications

• Minimum: college or university degree in a related field.
• Two to five years of work experience in a related nonprofit discipline.
• Preferred: Bachelor's degree and fundraising experience.

Responsibilities

• Plan and implement a coordinated fundraising strategy for alumni and leadership gift prospects.
• Manage a portfolio to meet annual goals for visits, solicitations, proposals, and gifts.
• Develop cultivation, solicitation, and stewardship plans for donors over four-to-five years.
• Collaborate with Advancement to support outreach and solicitation efforts.
• Prepare proposals and stewardship materials and record activity in the donor database.
• Maintain knowledge of giving priorities and participate in meetings and events.
