Job summary

Woodruff seeks a VP, Technology & AI to shape and execute the agency's technology and AI strategy, driving innovation and operational excellence. You will lead high-performing technology teams, translate complex AI concepts into business value, and collaborate with leadership to align investments with client needs and growth opportunities.

You will oversee governance, security, and the integration of AI into digital platforms, SEO, and marketing technology.

Qualifications

Demonstrated success leading technology and AI strategy within an agency or marketing organization.
Deep understanding of web technologies, marketing technology ecosystems, systems integration and digital platforms.
Experience evaluating and implementing AI technologies that drive measurable business outcomes.
Strong understanding of SEO, AI optimization (AIO), generative search and evolving search landscape.
Proven ability to translate complex technical concepts into practical business solutions.
Experience leading cross-functional teams and mentoring technical professionals.
Knowledge of AI governance, privacy, security and evolving regulatory landscape.

Responsibilities

Define and lead the agency's technology and AI vision and roadmap.
Establish and champion the agency's AI strategy across internal operations and client work.
Lead AI adoption with high-impact opportunities and clear outcomes.
Pilot and implement emerging technologies and AI platforms.
Develop AI governance, policies and best practices.
Oversee AI-driven search strategy and mentorship across teams.
Interact with leadership to guide responsible AI adoption and innovation.
