Job summary

AVEVA is seeking a Senior Manager to lead AI Core Services development. You will oversee multiple Scrum teams, align with product, portfolio, and architecture, and drive delivery excellence for AI-enabled platform services and APIs. The role emphasizes strategy, team health, and career growth across distributed locations.

You will mentor teams, manage risks, and ensure alignment with AVEVA’s AI platform vision and cloud-native goals while collaborating with stakeholders globally.

Qualifications

• 15+ years in software/product development with delivery leadership.
• Proven track record delivering complex distributed systems.
• Strong execution, planning, and tracking experience.
• Strong people leadership and coaching experience.
• Agile delivery experience and continuous improvement mindset.
• Good understanding of cloud and modern engineering practices.
• Strong stakeholder communication skills.
• Experience working in globally distributed teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage delivery across multiple Scrum teams ensuring predictable, high-quality outcomes.
• Own planning, prioritization, dependency management, and delivery tracking.
• Translate business priorities into clear delivery plans.
• Manage risks, dependencies, and blockers proactively.
• Lead, coach, and develop high-performing teams.
• Own performance management and career development.
• Foster a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.
• Align with Product, Portfolio, and Architecture teams.
