Job summary

Qualifications

• 3+ years in software development, integration, or enterprise middleware.
• Strong Python development and API skills.
• Experience with MCP servers/tools or AI tool-integration capabilities.
• Knowledge of REST APIs, JSON, HTTP, auth, and enterprise integration patterns.
• Experience with secure service-to-service communication and least-privilege access.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and maintain MCP servers and Python components.
• Develop reusable MCP tools, resources, prompts, schemas, and interfaces for enterprise apps.
• Build MCP capabilities that securely expose enterprise functions.
• Develop Python-based connectors to enterprise APIs, databases, web services, and interfaces.
• Design MCP tools with inputs/outputs, validation rules, and error handling.
• Implement authentication/authorization for MCP servers and downstream connections.
• Maintain MCP interface docs, API specs, data mappings, and deployment procedures.
• Participate in Agile/SAFe delivery activities.
