Job summary

DXC Technology is seeking a skilled MCP/Integration Engineer to design, develop, and maintain MCP servers and tools using Python. You will build interfaces that allow AI agents to securely access enterprise applications, databases, and data sources.

You will also create reusable MCP components, integrate with Oracle databases and PeopleSoft, and implement secure integration patterns across REST/SOAP APIs and backend services. A Secret clearance is required.

Qualifications

• Must be a US citizen with an active Secret security clearance.
• Experience designing, developing, testing MCP servers and supporting components using Python.
• Ability to develop MCP tools, interfaces, and integration with enterprise apps, databases, APIs, and data sources.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and maintain MCP servers and supporting integration components using Python.
• Develop reusable MCP tools, resources, prompts, schemas, and interfaces for enterprise apps and data sources.
• Build MCP capabilities that securely expose enterprise functions like search and knowledge content.
• Develop Python-based connectors translating MCP tool requests to secure enterprise calls.
• Design MCP tools with inputs, outputs, validation rules, permissions, and error handling.
• Implement secure read-only and transactional integration patterns for authorized actions.
• Develop and maintain REST/SOAP APIs, backend services, and adapters for MCP access.
• Integrate MCP services with Oracle databases, enterprise apps, and data sources.
• Collaborate with PeopleSoft teams to expose HCM/CRM functionality via Integration Broker and web services.

• Develop reusable MCP tools, resources, prompts, schemas, and interfaces that allow AI agents to interact with approved enterprise applications, databases, APIs, and data sources.

• Build MCP capabilities that securely expose enterprise functions such as search, retrieval, lookup, summarization support, case information, workflow information, knowledge content, and other approved business capabilities.

• Develop Python-based connectors and services that translate MCP tool requests into secure calls to enterprise APIs, databases, web services, and application interfaces.

• Design MCP tools with clearly defined inputs, outputs, validation rules, permissions, error handling, and operational boundaries.

• Implement secure read-only and transactional integration patterns, ensuring AI agents can perform only explicitly authorized actions.

• Develop and maintain REST/SOAP APIs, backend services, adapters, and supporting integration logic where MCP tools require access to existing enterprise systems.

• Integrate MCP services with Oracle databases, enterprise applications, case-management systems, knowledge repositories, and other approved data sources.
